I was walking around SoHo last week and came across a limited-edition Honda Valkyrie Rune parked right on the sidewalk, with pedestrians strolling casually by.

The owner was nowhere in sight.
List price for a Rune is around $27,000.
Considering I wouldn't leave a nice bicycle on the street in Manhattan without expecting it to get ripped off (it happened to me when I lived there -- all removable parts were stripped, and the frame was left U-locked to the bike rack), I'm quite impressed.
