You can cut and paste this Getty Images link to see them (my Dad has the same as the 2nd, or darker-colored Harley - I am bad with the particular model designations):
http://editorial.gettyimages.com/source/search/FrameSet.aspx?s=EventImagesSearchState|1|0|30|0|0|1|0|0|0|51911229|0|0|0|0|0||0|0|0|0&p=7Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533437212721794768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9395124.post-1104869715894021252005-01-05T05:15:00.000+09:002005-01-05T05:15:00.000+09:00So Kos has lost the will to fight? Granted, I will give him his due when he re-connects with reality, but I am always going to have a healthy skepticism when it comes to Markos Zuniga. His "Screw Them" comment when the security contractors were set alight and hung from the bridge in Fallujah still grates.

One person who has not lost the will to muckrake is Jesse Jackson (I don't use the term Reverend in his regard). In today's Chicago Sun Times, he is calling for Senators to spearhead the effort to devalue the Ohio resultsin the op-ed piece "Senators should object to Ohio vote" (cut'n'paste the below to see):

http://www.suntimes.com/output/jesse/cst-edt-jesse04.htmlIn his admiitedly narrow-based appeal, Jackson urged Senators to follow the fine example of Rep. John Conyers (who led the congressional effort to have U.N. observers oversee the U.S. election) and:

*Jackson Quote*"The grounds for the objections are clear: The irregularities in the Ohio vote and vote count are widespread and blatant. If the Ohio election were held in the Ukraine, it would not have been certified by the international community.

In Ohio, the gulf between exit polls and counted votes is vast and glaring. Blatant discrimination in the distribution of voting machines ensured long lines in inner-city and working-class precincts that favored John Kerry, while the exurban districts that favored President Bush had no similar problems.*Jackson Unquote*

He certainly pulled out all the stops there - including the Yukraine debacle, the lack of voting machines in ethnic areas in comparison to white areas, as well as what he perceives to be the infallibility of exit polls. I don't suppose he's thought about whether or not people would have been willing to wait in line (somehing that occurred everywhere as the number of registered voters who came out to cast a ballot was at a record high) if they'd had a more inspiring candidate for the office, i.e. a Bill Clinton type.

I'm convinced Jesse and I do not live on the same planet, even though we live in the same city.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15533437212721794768noreply@blogger.com
