We've got Monday off here in Japan, so I'm off to scenic Mt. Naeba for a three-day snowboarding trip.
One of the good things about living in Tokyo is you can just hop on the shinkansen (bullet train) and get to some decent mountains in about 2 hours. Plus, you can ship your bags ahead so you're not lugging them around like the Spanish explorers slogging through the jungle in Aguirre, The Wrath of God.
There probably won't be any Internet access up there, so blogging may be on hiatus until I get back.
